གཏུམ་མོ་གྱི་ཨ་ཤད་
Source of Tummo
The source for Tummo (gtum mo), lit. Fierce Lady, and commonly known as inner heat is most of the time the last part of the Tibetan syllable A ཨ which is like a stroke ། or fine triangle which is put upside down. This is known as ashe (a shad) or stroke of the A syllable. Here it is depicted a little bit more solid upon a solar mandala and a lotus blossom as the seed-syllable A is also known as the solar energy associated with the female power and female sexual fluid, the ovum and the heat.
